Slacken (“we”, “us”, “the app”) is an iOS puzzle game published by Jinyang Wang. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and who it is shared with. It is intentionally short because Slacken is intentionally minimal: there is no account system, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no social or networking features.
None. Slacken does not operate any servers that store personal data. Your
progress (current level, hint balance, completed-level set, preferences) is
persisted only on your device via Apple's standard UserDefaults
storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Slacken integrates three Apple-platform or Apple-mediated services and one third-party advertising SDK. Each is listed below with what it collects and why.
We use Google's AdMob SDK to show interstitial and opt-in rewarded ads. AdMob may collect:
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, Slacken shows Google's consent form before any ads are requested, and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy Options inside the app.
For full details see Google's privacy policy and the AdMob data-disclosure notice.
You can revoke tracking permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
When you buy a hint pack or start an ad-free subscription, Apple processes the transaction. We receive a signed receipt indicating which product was bought and whether the subscription is still active. We do not receive your name, email address, billing address, or payment instrument. Apple's handling of this data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Required by iOS before any third-party SDK may access the IDFA. Apple controls the prompt and your answer; we only receive the result (authorised / denied / restricted / not determined).
If you opt in to share analytics with app developers (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers), Apple may share aggregated crash logs with us through App Store Connect. These logs contain no personal data; they help us fix bugs that affect real devices. You can opt out at any time in the same Settings screen.
Slacken is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13 and is not enrolled in the Apple Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through one of the third-party services above, contact us and we will work with that provider to address it.
Because we do not store personal data on our own servers, the standard GDPR / CCPA rights to access, correct, export, or delete data are satisfied locally:
UserDefaults and Apple-mediated subscription
history. iOS Settings shows your subscription status; the app shows your
level/hint state in the Settings and HUD screens.
For data held by Google AdMob, see Google's privacy request form.
We will update the effective date at the top of this page whenever the policy changes. Material changes will additionally be flagged in the App Store “What's New” copy for the release in which they take effect.
